Most Commonly Replaced WP1550 Parts

- V-belt / drive belt — OEM-spec belt from engine pulley to exciter; slipping or cracked belt causes loss of compaction force
- Belt guard (front & rear) — OEM belt guard for WP1550/WP1540; safety and compliance item
- Exciter assembly & exciter bearings — cylinder bearing/roller (OEM 0073427 / 5000073427) for WP1540 and WP1550; exciter generates the compaction force

WP1550 vs VP1550 — Key Differences
These two models are frequently confused because of their similar names and size. The WP1550 is the Wacker Premium plate series — typically used in landscaping and paver installation. The VP1550 is the Vibratory Plate series — typically used for heavier soil compaction and asphalt patching. While some consumable parts (carburetors, spark plugs, air filters) overlap, structural parts are model-specific. We also stock VP1550 parts here.
